With a name like Little River, you wouldn’t expect much from this small town. In this case, that’s far from true. Situated about 20 miles north of Myrtle Beach and just south of the North Carolina border, this fishing town has some history. One of the oldest cities among the Grand Strand, it is home to generations of fishermen and shrimpers. Drive through the city long enough and you’ll find gorgeous, centuries-old live oak trees draped in spanish moss. A picture-perfect southern experience you just have to see for yourself!
